1. Dating should be easy, fun and successful. If your dating is not easy, fun and successful, you are either looking in the wrong places or dating in the wrong ways.
2. There IS a “right” way of dating that brings us healthy, high-quality matches who want us as we are; and a “wrong” way of dating that is time consuming, frustrating, and attracts emotionally unavailable, dysfunctional or poor-quality people into our life.
   
   
3. We ATTRACT quality matches, we do not pursue, chase or work in dating.
   
   
4. We do that by becoming attractive – first, to ourselves
   
   
5. The results we get in our dating - good or bad, what we want or what we do not want - are because of the way we are dating. If we want different results, we have to date differently.
   
   
6. “Dating differently,” the suggested actions and indicators will not make sense – if did, we would have already done it. In fact, dating differently will not make sense until take action SEVERAL times doing things differently than you would have and in ways that likely do not make sense now and finally connect the new, quality results to your new way of dating. We learn by doing.
   
   
7. The energy we put out is what we attract, tolerate or enable.
   
   
8. The results of our dating IS the test of what we are putting out. If we do not like what we are getting, the first examination is how are we are acting in ways that attract, tolerate or enable that?
   
   
9. Good dating looks like a lot of bad dates: we sift possible connections based on qualitative characteristics.
   
   
10. We initiate and take action. We are not passive and do not wait, accept what comes along, or believe that we can do nothing and “god will bring me someone.”
    
    
11. 99% of people are uneducated in successful dating – including most married couples, your other single friend who are complaining about their dating, and nearly EVERYTHING you read on the internet. Feel free to share what you learn here, but I discourage you from trying to educate others and NEVER argue with them. There is far more really BAD dating advice and beliefs that you can argue against. Allow your results to yourself to be the demonstration of your knowledge.
    
    
12. Time is your greatest asset and most limited resource – every minute spend chasing Mr. or Ms. Wrong is a minute running away from Mr. or Ms. Right. If you think dating is hard now wait until you try after the damage of a bad relationship, after having been injured by the untruthful or 10 years later.
